For four decades it has been my privilege to work with individuals and couples seeking therapy for relationship stress, anxiety, depression, unresolved grief, artistic blocks, and for becoming more resilient in traversing life transitions. I continue to be humbled by clients' willingness to trust me with their most personal thoughts and feelings as a companion on their journey toward a meaningful life.

I am aware that the process of choosing a therapist can add additional stress to the concerns that bring a person to seek therapy. It is my hope that this website answers your questions about what you can expect in therapy with me.

If you have questions about my practice after reviewing my site please don't hesitate to call me. Seeking psychotherapy or couples counseling is a courageous decision and it is important that you have all the information you need in choosing your therapist.

On a personal note, when I am not in my office I enjoy spending time in nature, especially with my grandchildren who constantly teach and amaze me. Filming and documenting artists' lives in the south of France nurtures my creative spirit; and meditation practice and retreats nourish my soul.

"You must not for one instant give up the effort to build new lives for yourselves. Creativity means to push open the heavy, groaning doorway to life. This is not an easy struggle. Indeed, it may be the most difficult task in the world, for opening the door to your own life is, in the end, more difficult than opening the doors to the mysteries of the universe."
